root veggie juice

I am so very excited to share with you this latest (and perhaps greatest?) root veggie juice I created the other day. Like often happens in my kitchen, necessity being the mother of invention and all that, I make a juice that 'cleans out' much of our leftover veggies.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but every once and a while you get a combination so magical, so random (and potentially strange-seeming), but so delicious you just can't keep it to yourself. Here's one such juice recipe. Enjoy!

Root Veggie Juice


  • 1 large or 2-3 small beets 
  • 1 cup of cabbage 
  • 1 inch knob of ginger root
  • 1 whole lemon 
  • 1 apple
  • 2 white radishes (or radish of any kind) 


  1. Chop all items + juice. 
  2. Enjoy immediately or cover and keep in fridge for about 48 hrs. 

This juice makes about 2 servings.
